Job Summary

The Clinical Care Specialist will provide direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. This role will also supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and support the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and plan direct clinical care for assigned patients
  • Implement care plans and supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated
  • Support the Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
  • Supervise staff to ensure competency and appropriate resource management

Work Environment

This role will support all facilities in the market as needed, working in various critical care areas, including CCU/ICU, ER, NICU, CVICU, PICU, MICU, Radiology, Dialysis, PACU, CVOR, Labor and Delivery, OR, Cardiac Cath Lab, and GI/Endo.
