About the Opportunity

This 13-week contract will require working 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, primarily at night. As a critical care respiratory specialist, you will be responsible for evaluating, treating, and caring for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients per physician orders and established policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, facility staff, patients, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Prepare patients and their families for therapy, providing education on methods and objectives of treatment.
Requirements
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential and current CPR certification are mandatory.
  • A minimum of 18 months of experience in respiratory care, preferably in a critical care setting, is preferred.
