We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. for a 12-week travel assignment in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading travel nurse staffing agency, providing high-quality care to patients across the country. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular imaging
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and develop treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and dignity throughout the imaging process
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, imaging results, and treatment plans
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in ultrasound technology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and technologies
  • Current licensure and certification in ultrasound technology
