We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita Inc., a leading provider of dialysis services. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) or chronic kidney disease (CKD).
About the RoleThe primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care, providing safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
- Tech Duties: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
In addition to these duties, you will also have the opportunity to build long-term relationships with your patients, educating them on kidney dialysis-related topics and providing emotional support and comfort.
About Our TeamYou will be working as part of a cross-functional team of clinicians, including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership. Our PCTs work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and receive ongoing training and support to ensure they are equipped to provide the highest level of care to our patients.

Benefits and CompensationWe offer a competitive salary range of $18.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have a desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others in need. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior healthcare experience is preferred but not necessary. You must also be comfortable working around blood and needles and have physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet.
