Job Summary

The Community Doula Perinatal Specialist at Norton Community Medical Associates plays a vital role in creating relationships with families during pregnancy and the post-partum period. This position requires a strong understanding of perinatal care and a passion for providing education, outreach, and emotional support to pregnant patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and outreach to pregnant patients and their families on perinatal care and wellness services.
• Work to ensure that pregnant patients have access to ongoing care and follow-up services.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide emotional support during acute care admissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Doula.
• DONA International Certification is highly desired.
