As an Early Childhood Education Specialist, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing program activities, collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students. Your responsibilities will include assuming responsibility for the classroom in the lead teacher's absence, implementing the program's Planned Language Approach, and providing active supervision to ensure the safety of children.

**Essential Functions:**

  • Participate in a team approach to planning and implementing program activities.
  • Collaborate with Family Support Workers, Lead Teacher, Program Aide, site partners, and site supervisor for the betterment of the classroom and families.
  • Assume responsibility for the classroom in lead teacher's absence.
  • Implement the program's Planned Language Approach.

**Qualifications:**

  • Minimum Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.

**Additional Requirements:**

  • Must be able to lift a child up to 50lbs.
  • Must provide proof of vaccination or have an approved Medical exemption prior to starting employment.

**Salary:** The estimated annual salary for this role is $41,000, commensurate with years of related experience and position requirements. We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects the value we place on our employees' contributions.
