Job Summary:

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Steward Health Care, you will provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure that patient needs are met, and you will maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.
  • Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure that patient needs are met.
  • Maintain regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards.
  • Communicate with physicians and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement Activities.

Requirements:

  • Current Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure in state of Texas.
  • Certifications as indicated by the Steward Certification document.
