Job Description:
We are seeking an Infection Control Specialist to join our team. As an Infection Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in preventing and controlling infections in our hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement infection control policies and procedures
* Conduct surveillance and investigations to identify and prevent the spread of infections
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide education and training on infection control practices
* Maintain accurate records and reports on infection rates and prevention efforts

Requirements:
* Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
* Valid Texas RN License/Eligible Compact License
* Current BLS & ACLS certification from American Heart Association
* BSN required
* 5 Years of clinical experience in an acute hospital setting required
* CIC certification preferred
* Previous hospital infection prevention experience preferred
* Leadership experience preferred

Benefits:
UMC Health System offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. Additionally, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development through training and education programs.

Estimated Salary: $95,000 per year.
