Dental Care Specialist

At BTY DENTAL, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Dentist to join our team.
Job Purpose:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their oral health needs are met. This includes diagnosing and treating problems with teeth, gums, and tissue in the mouth.
As a General Dentist, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, providing them with the information they need to prevent oral health issues and ensuring they receive the best possible treatment.
Essential Functions:- Evaluate the current health and condition of patients' teeth to determine the best possible treatment plan.
- Complete treatment on affected, decayed, and fractured teeth, and perform tooth extraction when necessary.
- Consider treatment options and explain them to patients to determine the best course of action.
- Monitor and evaluate x-ray images to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Follow standard dentistry procedures and company standard operating procedures.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Work with clinical staff to provide quality treatments.
- Coordinate with office staff to manage patient appointments and scheduling.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be willing to relocate to the State of Alaska.
- Be a graduate of an accredited dental college or university.
- Be currently licensed to practice dentistry in the State of Alaska or be able to obtain licensure within the expected timeframe.
- Have a strong understanding of dentistry and be able to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Have basic computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
