We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at a local Columbus, OH client. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment and possess mechanical aptitude, as well as the ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
Key Responsibilities- Operate machines and handle materials with precision and efficiency.
- Ensure quality of work by performing regular quality checks and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team leaders, coordinators, and coworkers to achieve production goals.
- Work safely, adhering to O.S.H.A. regulations and wearing company-provided PPE.
- Promote continuous improvement through input and feedback.
- 2+ years of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Familiarity with computer-operated equipment and ability to use a caliper, micrometer, and tape measure.
- Ability to read and understand measurements written in decimal form.
- Ability to work while standing for long periods (10–12-hour shifts) and lift up to 60 pounds.
