The Role

We are looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of success in generating revenue and driving growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to maximize revenues and margins, while maintaining positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Responsibilities

  1. Sales Performance: Exceed budgeted group sales team goals on a monthly and annual basis by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and negotiating contracts that meet or exceed expectations.
  2. Revenue Growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to generate group revenues for the hotel, including identifying new markets, building partnerships with key accounts, and leveraging industry trends to drive growth.
  3. Team Leadership: Motivate and support a high-performing sales team by providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  4. Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, including general managers, department heads, and other sales teams, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  5. Closing Deals: Utilize negotiation skills to close deals, secure contracts, and meet revenue targets.

Requirements

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  2. Experience: Minimum 7 years of hotel group sales experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  3. Skills: Proven sales leader with a strong track record of delivering results; excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills; ability to analyze data and make informed decisions; proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality-specific software.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
