Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to join our team at Williamson Health, providing high-quality echocardiograms in a multi-modality imaging department. The successful candidate will work closely with cardiologists and prioritize patient care in a safe, respectful, and efficient manner.

About the Role
This position requires a degree from an accredited echocardiography program, registration eligibility, and proficiency in various echo procedures. As an Echocardiographer at Williamson Health, you will be responsible for assisting cardiologists during TEE's and cardioversions while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Educational Requirements
Earned a degree/certificate from an accredited Echocardiography program. Must be registered or registry eligible in Echocardiography. Proficient in performing TEE studies, stress echo studies, and use of contrast. BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Work Experience
Preference of at least two years of work experience after graduation. Ability to work in urgent situations while supporting an inclusive healthcare environment.

Salary Information
The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary depending on individual qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
Check patient identification and physician order to ensure accuracy of request before proceeding with study. Recognize abnormal studies and report appropriately. Understand proper use of Definity. Seek opportunities to assist in other areas during downtime periods and always make good use of time. Correctly record preliminary calculations and post measurements and findings. Assist Cardiologists during TEE's and Cardioversions. Show leadership and teamwork in difficult situations and make appropriate decisions. Volunteer for overtime and fill-in when needed. Perform high-quality studies consistently and follow pre-determined standards (protocols) and procedures for all echocardiography studies.
