Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hospitality Assistant to join our team at Flik Hospitality Group.

About the Role
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for food preparation.
  • Keep equipment and utensils in excellent condition, adhering to high standards of sanitation and safety.
Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Key responsibilities include:

  • Sweeping and mopping floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
  • Cleaning worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
  • Removing trash and placing it into designated containers, ensuring a clutter-free environment.
  • Assisting with banquet table setup and front-of-house preparations.
  • Loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and products as needed.
  • Distributing supplies, utensils, and portable equipment throughout the kitchen.
  • Complying with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • An understanding of kitchen sanitation and safety procedures.
