About the Role:

The Behavioral Interventionist (BI) at FosterAdopt Connect works one-on-one with youth who struggle with behavioral management to ensure a stable living environment. This part-time position requires a strong commitment to supporting families with varying levels of communication, parenting, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one services to clients, adhering to agency requirements and policies.
Maintain open communication with caregivers to ensure service efficacy and approval of activities during shifts.
Provide direct supervision to clients at all times and assist with daily responsibilities and living skills.
Actively engage with clients using approved Bruce Perry trauma-informed brain-stimulating activities.
Adhere to Individualized Behavioral Objective Plans to help youth achieve treatment goals.

Requirements:

At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
One year of experience working with youth with elevated behavioral needs preferred.
Ability to perform safety holds on clients who are at immediate risk for harming themselves or others.
Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Solid commitment to supporting foster and adoptive families.
