Insight Global is a dynamic law firm seeking a Highly Skilled Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team in New York City.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality of lawyer-client relationships. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing ongoing positive business relationships with clients.
  • Maintaining lawyers' busy schedules and calendars.
  • Scheduling and organizing meetings, conferences, speaking engagements, client proposals, and events.
  • Working with Marketing and/or other office personnel to coordinate food and beverage services, reserve rooms, and prepare materials.
  • Maintaining lawyers' contacts in Outlook and BD Hub with accurate contact information and notes.
  • Answering and screening calls, fielding inquiries, relaying messages, and responding promptly to client needs.
  • Creating, formatting, editing, proofreading, and managing Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations.

This role also involves assisting lawyers with Marketing and Business Development functions, including preparing materials for use in meetings, pitches, and proposals. Additionally, the successful candidate will undertake internet research for lawyers' business development as directed by lawyer(s) and process and close time for lawyers adhering to weekly and monthly deadlines.

About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable law firm in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $125,000 per year.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Detail-oriented and efficient, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-volume environment.
  • Well-developed Microsoft Office skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency.
  • Minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute (tested during interview process).
  • Availability to work overtime.
