Manufacturing Operations Director

We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations in Teterboro, NJ.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate departmental activities to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of manufactured products.
- Coordinate raw material delivery with purchasing.
- Develop and manage yearly departmental budgets.
- Verify completeness of all manufacturing documents and adhere to FIFO principles.
- Approve production procedures and time cards.
- Enhance performance on key metrics: safety, delivery, cost, and inventory.
- Supervise production supervisors, lead persons, and manufacturing staff.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- 5-10 years of progressive manufacturing experience, with 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.
- Production planning expertise.
- Lean manufacturing knowledge and application.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar systems.
The ideal candidate must be a team player, creative problem solver, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
