About the Position

Cayuga Centers is seeking a skilled Clinician to provide therapy, counseling, and coaching services to children and families in a community-based setting. As a member of our innovative Children and Family Treatment and Support Services team, you will work with families to address challenges associated with behavioral health needs through the Other Licensed Professional (OLP) function.

The ideal candidate will have a strong belief in the capacity of people to grow and change, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to engage families who may have been unsuccessful in clinic settings. Experience working with children and families in a community-based or in-home setting is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services to children and families in the home and/or community to help achieve stability and improvement in daily living and family and interpersonal relationships.
  • Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions/modalities in your practice, including strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Apply and develop your clinical assessment and evaluation skills to support treatment planning and goal-directed support.
  • Establish a leadership role within the team as the clinical guide to treatment planning and provide therapeutic case management.
  • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team that shares your passion for children and families.
Requirements

Masters degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling with experience in strength-based family and children's services. Licensed Clinicians or those with a Limited Permit preferred. Experience working with children and families in a community-based or in-home setting is preferred.
