Job Summary

The Senior Family Support Specialist will provide education, assistance, and coordination to clients participating in the 2Gen Prevention Services Program. This role will focus on building family education and implementation that supports and enhances safety, security, and stable, healthy relationships that are family-centered and connected to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement family education programs in group settings within the community.
  • Research and acquire curriculum for training needs as necessary.
  • Represent the agency at external meetings as assigned.
  • Collaborate with case management staff to provide training to clients.
  • Travel regularly within a 2-3 hour radius to facilitate group programs.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field, or two years of experience working with children and family services.
