Job Summary:

The Compensation and Benefits Analyst at Crico is responsible for analyzing and administering compensation and benefits. This role requires subject matter expertise in compensation, benefits, data analysis, compliance, policy development, research, and communication. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards for HR customer service and provide support for the accuracy and maintenance of data in various HR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct compensation analysis to ensure external and internal equity, including market and industry trend analysis, job classification, and salary determination.
  • Lead the annual merit and bonus planning cycle to ensure compensation is equitable, consistent, and accurate.
  • Provide guidance to managers and staff regarding benefits and compensation.
  • Conduct HR data analytics, including workforce statistics, benefit analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Support the HR Administrator with bi-weekly payroll processing and participate in year-end payroll processing.
  • Participate in benefits administration and annual open enrollment benefits cycle.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR practices, laws, and regulations, and best practices in the industry.
  • Help mitigate CRICO risk due to HR practices.
  • Participate in special projects and HR-related committees.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

Knowledge, Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent; HR focus preferred.
  • 5+ years compensation experience required.
  • 3+ years benefits experience preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of compensation structures, job evaluation, and salary surveys.
  • Understanding of federal and state regulations impacting compensation and benefits.
  • HRIS and/or payroll experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient in utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies to extract actionable insights.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical skills.
  • Precision in preparing reports and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good judgment with high levels of integrity and problem-solving skills.
  • Discrete; ability to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.
