Bartender Specialist

Job Title: Bartender

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Blue Hill Country Club. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks and beverages to our members and guests. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and a memorable experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet all members and guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to our scheduling standards.
• Ensure high standards of personal appearance and grooming while wearing the proper uniform and nametag when working.
• Be knowledgeable of and comply with our club's standards, policies, and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.
• Inspect the bar before opening to ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Stock the bar and complete pre-opening procedures.
• Mix, prepare, and serve alcoholic beverages to members and guests according to approved standard recipes.
• Present the beverage menu, make recommendations, and answer related questions.
• Record drink orders accurately into the register system and comply with standard operating procedures.
• Respond promptly to requests from members, guests, and service staff politely and professionally.
• Manage bar operations, monitor bar inventory, and order and restock bar supplies as needed.

Requirements:

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Minimum one-year related experience and/or training required.
• Of legal age to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages.
• Skilled at slowing and refusing alcoholic beverage service when necessary.
• Excellent listening skills, oral communication skills, organizational skills, and positive interpersonal skills required.

Working Conditions:

Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the outlet. Varied weather conditions are expected with exposure to heat/humidity, cool/cold weather, and a noisy environment. Varying schedules to include evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates.

Compensation:

• Bartenders earn $9/hr plus gratuities.
