Critical Care Nurse

Cynet Health is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team. As a nurse in this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment providing care on a 36-bed Oncology Telemetry unit with over 24 beds dedicated to PCU level of care.
You will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:4-5 for Med-Surg Telemetry and 1:3 for PCU. You will also float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in oncology and high acuity settings, with skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, rapid response team use, feeding tube care and management, and accessing ports.
Responsibilities- Provide care on a 36-bed Oncology Telemetry unit with over 24 beds dedicated to PCU level of care.
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:4-5 for Med-Surg Telemetry and 1:3 for PCU.
- Floating within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed.
- Deliver special procedures and unit-specific care focused on infection prevention protocols and patient falls.
- Utilize equipment including B450 monitors, GE telemetry system, bladder scanner, Alaris pumps, Stryker beds, and PCA pumps.
- Demonstrate skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, rapid response team use, feeding tube care and management, and accessing ports.
- Perform central line, PICC line, and peripheral line management, as well as starting IVs and implementing heparin protocols.
- Manage and titrate cardiac drips, as well as tracheostomy and high flow nasal cannula (HFNC).
- Handle chest tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, interpretation of ABGs, and nasal cannula use.
- Management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, and insulin drip titration.
- Experience with phlebotomy, chemotherapy administration, monitoring, wound care, wound vac, and arterial line management.
