Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to identify cognitive and behavioral strengths and weaknesses.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address patients' cognitive and behavioral needs.
  • Providing individual and group psychotherapy to patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Supervising and teaching graduate and fellowship students in the area of neuropsychology.
  • Pursuing scholarly activities, including program evaluation, research, and publications.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • A PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, or Neuropsychology from an APA/CPA-accredited doctoral program and internship.
  • Postdoctoral training in Neuropsychology.
  • Licensure or license-eligibility as a Psychologist in Virginia.
  • Experience and competence in neuropsychological assessment, psychological and behavioral therapies, family education, and support.
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Competence and experience with geriatric patients is highly desirable.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
