Job Overview

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled Laboratory Scientist to join their team.

Position Summary:

This role involves performing clinical laboratory testing, providing guidance to colleagues, and participating in quality control activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately perform clinical laboratory testing in various areas.
  • Provide functional guidance to Client Service Coordinators and Phlebotomists.
  • Participate in quality control, preventive maintenance, and proficiency testing activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree/diploma.
  • MT-Medical Technologist certification.
  • One-year internship or experience as a generalist preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in all laboratory sections.
  • Familiarity with PLL-based lab information systems.

Work Environment:

  • Nights shifts.
  • Full-time schedule.
  • Variable days.

Benefits:

Salary Range:

$51.91 - $64.54 per hour.

The salary range may vary based on location and departmental needs.
