About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Economic Outreach team as a summer intern. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the development and implementation of educational resources, presentations, and events that promote economic education and awareness in our community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and design of new educational resources and programs
  • Support the planning and management of meetings, workshops, conferences, and events
  • Develop innovative marketing and communication materials
  • Prepare resource and handout packets for presentations
  • Tabulate evaluations and analyze feedback for programs
  • Perform miscellaneous research duties, such as literature reviews and special projects

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled college student, preferably rising junior or senior status
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Significant economics coursework required
  • Familiarity with the Federal Reserve System
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to think creatively and develop creative presentation and marketing materials
  • Basic knowledge of and experience in use of research techniques
  • Passionate about data exploration and the ability to communicate findings
  • Strong analytical and attention to detail skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Other Requirements and Considerations

  • Selected candidate is subject to special background check procedures
  • The hourly rate for summer interns is $22.00/hour
  • US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident status is required
