Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Liaison to join our team at Educational Federal Credit Union. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service by serving as a consultant to members on a wide variety of deposit and loan transactions/inquiries.

About the Role
  • You will process various types of transactions for members, including cash and non-cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and more.
  • You will also service member accounts by preparing necessary paperwork for wire transfers, processing stop payment requests, and assisting with online banking setup.
  • In addition, you will provide members with access to their safe deposit boxes and complete necessary documentation.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Review daily deployment schedules for branch assignments and plan travel schedules accordingly.
  2. Process various types of transactions for members, including cash and non-cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and more.
  3. Service member accounts by preparing necessary paperwork for wire transfers, processing stop payment requests, and assisting with online banking setup.
  4. Provide members with access to their safe deposit boxes and complete necessary documentation.
  5. Maintain awareness of all current promotions or campaigns and discuss basic features and benefits of all credit union products and services.
  6. Maximize every member contact as an opportunity to identify what credit union products and services would be beneficial to them and make appropriate referrals.
  7. Serve as lobby leader and assess walk-in members' needs, directing them to the appropriate information source to ensure maximum lobby efficiency and minimize member waiting time.
  8. Participate in volunteer external networking and promotional events with local schools, colleges, and other community business partners.
  9. Actively participate in team meetings/daily huddles to provide input and ideas regarding branch business strategy.
  10. Regularly travel throughout the branch network (25-mile radius) to provide staffing assistance at all branch locations as assigned.
  11. Work weekend hours as needed by business and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 0-2 years of customer service or financial services experience.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
