The Role: Senior Channel Partner Manager

This critical role will focus on building long-term relationships with marketing agency partners, fostering mutually beneficial business collaborations. Agency partners significantly contribute to impact.com's growth and success, making this position pivotal in driving those partnerships.

As a Senior Channel Partner Manager, you will work closely with new agencies to establish them as productive partners within our ecosystem. Utilizing strong consultative skills, you will help partners align their business objectives with our solutions, guiding them on how to grow their business through impact.com. You will also assist agencies in understanding how our platform can enhance client acquisition rates, retention rates, and overall business profitability.

SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE DEMANDS BALANCING SALES, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT, RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING, EDUCATION, AND MORE WHILE CONTINUALLY LEARNING THE INDUSTRY AND TECHNOLOGY.

The ideal candidate boasts a proven track record of channel partnerships, is energetic, curious, tenacious, highly motivated, organized, and an excellent consultative seller. They should be tech-savvy, comfortable explaining complex concepts, and possess a deep understanding of performance marketing and the role agencies play in driving growth for their clients.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage partner relationships, developing a sales pipeline by working closely with your partners to exceed sales goals.
  • Develop a long-term successful strategy for your partners and your book of business.
  • Become an expert at presenting how partnerships and our software can improve the fundamentals of a partner's business.
  • CLOSE NEW BUSINESS AT OR ABOVE QUOTA LEVEL BY IDENTIFYING PARTNERS WILLING TO INVEST TIME AND MONEY IN OUR SOFTWARE AND TRAINING.
  • Bring innovative thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company's values, unique culture, and vision for the future, being both creative and resourceful as you guide new agency partners towards success with impact.com.
  • Proactively lead joint partner planning processes that develop mutual performance objectives and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify new business opportunities.
  • Assess, validate, and refine approaches to partnerships proactively.

Requirements:

  • 2-8+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or related fields.
  • 1-5+ years of experience in a channel sales team.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • An exceptional communicator with strong written and verbal skills, prioritizing clear communication and engaging interactions.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks without compromising quality.
  • A natural networker with a passion for forging connections and selling products they genuinely believe in.
  • An energetic self-starter, driven by a hunger for wins, growth, success, knowledge, and learning.
  • Preferred: Experience in the partnership/affiliate/influencer marketing industry or digital marketing.

Estimated Salary Range: $130,000 - $195,000 OTE per year, plus eligibility for Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grants.
