Clinical Neuropsychologist

Job Summary:

The Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team. As a Lifespan Neuropsychology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical neuropsychological services to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments with patients of all ages.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Provide psychotherapy and family support groups as needed.
• Participate in departmental research programs and supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

Qualifications:

• PhD, PsyD, or equivalent degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a neuropsychology fellowship or equivalent experience.
• Licensed or eligible to practice psychology in New York state.
• Primary training in lifespan neuropsychology.
