About the Role

Burson North America is seeking an experienced Account Director to join our Direct Impact Practice, specializing in the automotive industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading client-facing projects, overseeing stakeholder and local media relations, and coordinating asset and content creation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client-facing project management, ensuring high-quality and on-time deliverables
  • Coordination of asset and content creation, including press releases, editorial stories, and media responses
  • Collaboration with the Marketing team to determine asset status and development needs
  • Agency call and meeting coordination, including agendas and recaps
  • Media monitoring supervision and review
  • Additional ad-hoc client and practice requests as needed
Requirements
  • 7+ years of public relations experience
  • Excellent project and team management skills, with a proven ability to plan and prioritize work
  • Excellent client management skills
  • Strong technical writing skills, with high attention to detail
  • Prior experience as a day-to-day account lead
  • Ability to manage complex client and internal relationships diplomatically and consultatively
  • Ability to think innovatively to develop creative solutions and new programs
  • Team player, ready to collaborate in a dynamic environment
  • Experience or interest in the automotive industry preferred
