About the Role

We are seeking an experienced RN to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in the Intermediate Care Unit at Johnston-Willis Hospital. This role offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth and development in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Summary:

The CNC will provide high-quality patient-centered care, mentor and support staff, and coordinate all functions in the unit. Key responsibilities include partnering with a multidisciplinary team to deliver customized care, assisting with admission and discharge processes, providing coaching and feedback, and contributing to improved outcomes and service.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality patient-centered care
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes
  • Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement
  • Assist with staff scheduling
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License
  • 3+ years of current nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
  • 1 year of leadership experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification
