About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Presbyterian Homes and Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to older adults in their homes. This is a full-time day position, Monday through Friday, with participation in an equitable weekend and holiday rotation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wound care, including wound vac dressing changes, and prevention strategies such as offloading to prevent pressure injuries
  • Catheter changes and irrigations for indwelling and suprapubic catheters
  • Medication teaching, setup, and reconciliation
  • Disease management education and teaching, such as diabetic education, fingerstick INRs, and CHF education with weight and lung sound monitoring
  • Being a key member of our interdisciplinary team and keeping everyone involved in each client's care updated on any changes in status
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse with current licensure with the State Board of Nursing in state(s) in which he/she practices
  • Current CPR certification
  • Interest in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative, and restorative clinical practices
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
