About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled NICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all functions in the unit/department during your designated shift.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Participate in ongoing assessments of quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Operationalize current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives to improve engagement.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, as well as implementing courses of action for personnel policy compliance and performance evaluations.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
- Texas RN license or compact license accepted.
- Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Current NRP issued by the American Heart Association.
- Must have at least two years of Level IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital.
Estimated Salary Range
$104,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience.
