This position involves performing legal and investigative work related to proposed and existing guardianships. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling hearings on guardianship and monitoring the proceedings.
Key Responsibilities- Reviews and evaluates Guardianship case filings to monitor mandatory statutory requirements
- Monitors all aspects of ongoing cases and investigates non-compliance as needed
- Files pleadings and attends court hearings, making recommendations as to the outcome of hearings
- Communicates electronically, in person, and via telephone with filing attorneys, appropriate court staff, and parties of the case regarding the results of the file review and schedules appropriate interviews
To be considered for this role, you must have a doctoral degree and a minimum of three years of experience in a related field. You must also be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. A bachelor's degree in social work, nursing, or a related field is preferred, as is a social work license. Bilingualism in Spanish and English is also desirable but not required.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is estimated to be between $92,768 and $107,611 annually.
