Salary Information: The salary for this role is estimated to be between $54,100 and $75,700 per year, based on factors such as location, relevant experience, and skillset.

Job Description: As a Crew Pay Analyst I at Alaska Airlines, you will be responsible for accurate processing of pay for Pilots or Flight Attendants in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and our standard operating procedures. You will work closely with crew members to resolve any issues related to pay and provide excellent customer service to internal customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver accurate pay processes for crew members according to the applicable CBA.
  2. Follow established procedures and leverage CBA expertise to provide exceptional customer service.
  3. Work with crew members to resolve any issues related to pay.
  4. Research and resolve all payroll questions, including collaborating with other teams if necessary.
  5. Communicate clearly and confidently with the Flight Attendant and/or Pilot union on crew pay-focused contractual requirements.
  6. Identify and provide input on process improvements within the team and with other departments.
  7. Support testing for payroll-related software systems.
  8. Participate in cross-team meetings and serve as a subject matter expert for specific components of payroll processes and the CBA.
  9. Assist in training new pay analysts.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
  1. A Bachelor's degree with a focus in accounting, finance, labor, or a related field; or 2 years of proven experience in crew pay, accounting, payroll, auditing, data analysis, scheduling, or a related field.
  2. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  3. Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  5. Experience working with labor groups and contracts.
  6. Intermediate level proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  7. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  8. Minimum age of 18 and authorization to work in the U.S.
