Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL A driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a CDL A driver, you will play a vital role in transporting food products to customers while providing excellent service.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $69,091, based on an hourly rate of $33.34. Additionally, the job offers competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, pension plan, and employee stock purchase plan.

Job Description

As a CDL A driver, your primary responsibilities will include delivering products to customers' drop-off sites, unloading products with a hand truck, and verifying delivery of items with customers. You will also be responsible for making frequent stops during a work shift and delivering product in inclement weather conditions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver's license suspensions in the past three years
  • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required
