Job Description

As a Director of Training, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our company by developing and implementing comprehensive training programs that educate our team members on delivering quality and fostering an environment of service excellence.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering training programs to communicate Up To Par and property brand standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Driving Quality Assurance throughout Properties
  • Working with the corporate Transition team for new property management agreements.
  • Tracking training progress of all team members to ensure Quality culture is maintained
  • Creating and administering development programs and training programs.
  • Developing Management Development Program and Self Directed Development Programs to ensure current team members are prepared for upcoming and anticipated opportunities.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to identify key talent and oversee strategic succession planning.
  • Assisting property leadership on identifying productivity, operational and financial opportunities in the food and beverage departments.
  • Administering corporate new hire orientation.
  • Crafting and enhancing training courses in property core business departments (Food and Beverage, Guest Services, Human Resources, etc.).
  • Identifying and developing on-property food and beverage trainers and partnering with these trainers to strengthen their effectiveness.
  • Partnering with Human Resources to identify talent and HR leadership to deploy development programs in support of succession planning activities.
  • Ensuring training courses and development programs meet stated objectives through analyzing metrics and business impact.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of Hospitality Management experience is required.
  • A proven track record of hospitality and operational training.
  • Must possess professional and efficient communication skills and exhibit the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage competing priorities.
  • Possess well-developed leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to build and maintain business relationships.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) plan, STD, LTD, paid holiday, vacation, personal & sick time, lean management training, and numerous employee discount benefits through our HR provider LL Roberts.
