Therapist Role Overview

Hale Kipa is a leading nonprofit organization that provides opportunities and environments to strengthen youth, families, and communities. As a dedicated professional, you will be involved in various programs such as Intensive In-Home, Intensive Independent Living Skills, or Transitional Family Home Programs.

This role primarily serves the Kaua'i community, working collaboratively with Family Guidance Centers and other providers engaged with the youth. Strong time management skills, effective verbal and written communication abilities, and proficiency in navigating an electronic health record system are essential.

The position operates on a fee-for-service basis, with work assigned as it becomes available. Extended driving may be required.

To excel in this role, you should have a Master's degree in a related field, at least 1 year of clinical supervision experience, and expertise in providing therapeutic services to youth and families. Credentialed by the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division, you must also possess a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for transporting youth.

Job Requirements
  • $37.80 per hour (non-licensed)
  • $42.00 per hour (clinical license recognized in the State of Hawaii)
  • Separate documentation fee structure
