Job Summary

Global Medical Response Inc is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team through the DOD SkillBridge program. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing advanced medical care to patients in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
  • Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
  • Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in community programs to maintain GMR image and establish strong community relations.
Requirements
  • Current Active-Duty Service Member.
  • Meets DoD SkillBridge Qualifications.
  • Available to participate 90-days.
  • Obtain approval from your unit commander and agree that participation in SkillBridge can be terminated at any time by the Service if mission requirements dictate.
  • Work remotely in the continental US.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • State Driver's License.
  • National or State PARAMEDIC Certification (as Applicable).
  • CPR Certification.
  • PALS Certification.
  • PHTLS or ITLS Certification.
  • Pass Physical Ability Test.
  • Driving Record in Compliance with Company Policy.
