Job Title: National Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Account Manager to join our commercial team at Coffee and Bagel Brands. As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for leading customer relationships with our CPG retailers, managing performance, and identifying areas for growth within our existing customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with National Accounts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for national account customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
  • Develop and manage customer promotional plans and sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product offerings and promotions
  • Collaborate with sales team members to share insights and best practices
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to management
  • Develop customer level sales forecasts
  • Manage broker network, oversee and coordinate activities of external brokers to ensure alignment with sales objectives
  • Audit customer program execution
  • Negotiations for promotional agreements with national accounts
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build internal and external facing presentations
  • Self-starter, takes an idea and runs with it
  • Bring ideas to improve process, curiosity mindset
  • Demonstrates customer leadership, is the face of the organization to National Accounts
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving - cross functional leadership across the organization
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, takes on challenges, everyday is a new challenge
  • Demonstrates ability to develop account level distribution, promotion, pricing plans
  • Experience managing broker network
  • Experience with industry trade shows
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and delivering against customer targets
  • 5-7 years of experience in sales within the CPG industry required
  • Experience calling on national accounts required (Kroger preferred)

Work Environment:

This is a hybrid role with 2-4 days working at our office in Denver on I-25 & Colorado Blvd. The position requires 25% travel to support customers and participate in trade shows.
