**Job Overview**

The Emergency Response Nurse - ICU Leader plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in high-pressure situations. This dynamic individual is part of a multidisciplinary team that responds to life-threatening symptoms, collaborating with other medical personnel to determine the best course of action.

**Responsibilities**

  • Assess patient conditions and communicate with attending physicians to determine care plans.
  • Collaborate with primary nurses to stabilize patients and provide timely interventions.
  • Educate and mentor staff on emergency protocols and best practices.

**Requirements**

  • ACLS certification.
  • Current CPR/BLS required.
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • RN license in Maryland or compact state.

**Physical Demands**

  • Concentrates on moderate to fine detail for extended periods.
  • Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to hear normal sounds with some background noise.
  • Remembers schedules, tasks, and where activities left off.
  • Sitting, standing, and walking for extensive periods.
