Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage driver utilization to ensure drivers achieve targeted utilization levels and work with Customer Service Representatives to improve driver productivity.
  • Monitor hours of service to support load planning management and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Provide exceptional support to drivers, including answering phone calls and electronic communication, and serving as the sole point of contact for load information, advances, company updates, and maintenance coordination.
  • Manage on-time pickup and deliveries, out-of-route miles, fueling locations, home time, and time off requests, as well as hours of service and performance.
  • Closely work with safety, operations, and maintenance departments to maintain company and DOT compliance.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation or traffic, preferably with a dispatch or operational background.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with Qualcomm, McLeod, and Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Knowledge of DOT Rules and Regulations.
  • Ability to problem-solve, research discrepancies, and troubleshoot roadblocks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
