About the Role
The Registered Nurse in our Progressive Care Unit plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional patient experiences.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or functions as ordered by medical providers.
- Document administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in caring for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
