Hemodialysis Technician Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Hemodialysis Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse in accordance with organization policies, procedures, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up and operate hemodialysis machines according to established protocols.
* Monitor patients' response to dialysis therapy and intervene as prescribed by physician order or directed.
* Perform all relevant functions necessary for the discontinuation of treatment, including obtaining vital signs prior to reinfusion and applying appropriate dressings.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED required.
* Must meet Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS)-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
* Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
