Overview

AccentCare is seeking a skilled Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Our coverage territory includes the Western Chicago Suburbs, including Aurora, Naperville, Elgin, and St. Charles area.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have graduated from an approved school of professional nursing
  • Have at least one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in CA
  • Have previous experience in hospice, home health, general medical surgical, or patient population-specific nursing
  • Have a minimum of one year of Palliative Care services experience (preferred)
  • Be familiar with policies of the agency and state(s) and federal regulations pertaining to nursing services
  • Have demonstrated expertise in pain/symptom management and advanced care planning
Required Certifications and Licensure

You must have:

  • A current and unencumbered advanced practice nursing license in the state(s) practicing
  • An active DEA license in the state where care is being provided
  • Certification by a nationally recognized advanced nursing practice organization
  • Valid CPR certification (preferred)
  • A valid driver's license and reliable automobile
Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $65.00 per hour.
