Job Summary

At Peterson, we're seeking an experienced Lease Sales Representative to join our team in Portland, OR. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for performing a wide range of lease sales and marketing duties, requiring extensive knowledge of Navistar products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects, identifying new business opportunities and growing existing accounts.
  • Coordinate with various departments to achieve sales goals, including product support, marketing, and customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, products, and services, providing expert advice to customers and prospects.
  • Present sales literature and brochures to customers and prospects, highlighting the benefits of Peterson's truck leasing solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including trade shows and networking events.
  • Collaborate with other sales representatives, product support teams, and employees to share leads and best practices.
  • Attend training sessions and trade shows to stay current on industry developments and products.
  • Provide written lease quotes, including cost benefits and equipment features, to customers and prospects.
  • Coordinate the delivery of new or used trucks, ensuring a smooth transition for customers.
  • Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a fully accredited college or equivalent experience in aggressive lease sales and marketing.
  • Minimum 3 years of directly related experience in the trucking industry, preferably in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Good working knowledge of trucking industry, equipment, and customers.
  • Knowledge of International/Navistar products is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
