Job Summary

The Assistant Director of Alumni Relations is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage and retain alumni, with a focus on building strong relationships and fostering a sense of community among alumni, students, and faculty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive alumni engagement strategy, including events, communications, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving to develop and implement annual giving initiatives.
  • Partner with the Career and Experiential Learning team to develop and implement alumni outreach efforts.
  • Manage and coordinate alumni events, including the Annual Christmas Celebration, Alumni Weekend at Homecoming, and regional alumni events.
  • Develop and execute a communications plan to strategically engage and inform alumni and friends.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of relevant experience, preferably in alumni relations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with excellent grammar.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and campus partners.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends, as needed.
