Laboratory Scientist with Clinical Expertise

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Baylor Scott & White Health. This is a full-time position responsible for performing and monitoring laboratory testing and research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests in compliance with department procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Follow quality control, quality assurance, safety, and infection control procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and inventory of supplies.
- Communicate effectively with laboratory personnel, other disciplines, and external customers.
- Participate in laboratory projects and educational activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
- Less than 1 year of experience as a Laboratory Scientist.
- Certification from American Board of Histocompatibility (ABHI), American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), American Medical Technologists (AMT), American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) or grandfathered HEW Licensee.
Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum
