Job Overview

We are seeking qualified substitute teachers to supervise and teach students in the event that their regular teacher is unable to lead class. This position requires availability to accept assignments when scheduled in advance or at short notice.

Responsibilities
  1. Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students
  2. Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize disruptions, and maintain a positive learning environment
  3. Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, at recess/lunch, and during dismissal
  4. Provide a written report of the day to the regular teacher
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Previous teaching experience
Compensation

$28-$38 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
