Body Shop Technician Painter

Liberty Ford is seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician Painter to join our team in Vermilion, OH. As a key member of our automotive team, you will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles to manufacturer and industry-established quality and time standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Repairs vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
• Transports vehicle into the paint booth.
• Prepares vehicles for body repair work by wiping down vehicles with appropriate cleaners.
• Color matches vehicle, including spraying out the card on every job.
• Applies paint and clear to vehicle.
• Bakes vehicle per specifications.
• Uncover the vehicle and inspect the quality of paintwork and color match
• Notifies management of any additional repairs needed.
Requirements
• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Valid Drivers license that meets dealership insurability requirements.
• ICAR or ASE certifications in auto body repair, painting, and estimating are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a collision repair technician.
Work Environment
• Walking/Standing for 6 to 8 hours in a shift.
• Using hand and/or power tools and equipment consistent with industry standards.
• Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching and climbing.
• Lifting up to 70lbs.
• Possess physical and manual dexterity.
