Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Host/Cashier to join our team at Seminole Gaming. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greets and serves guests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Obtains information from guests and ushers them to seats.
  • Communicates customer requests to assigned servers.
  • Knowledgeable of restaurant seating plan, including sections, table numbers, and seat numbers.
  • Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have or relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate Assistant Manager on duty.
  • Collects various forms of payment to process orders.
  • Enters guests' checks in the computer system, applies monies, and makes accurate change and processes credit card payments.
  • Processes to-go orders over the phone/walk-ins.
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Completes all set-up and closing duties in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience in high-volume food service, as well as in cashiering/money handling. Table service restaurant experience preferred.
  • Ability to deliver a service level that creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
  • Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • The department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; management expectation is that you must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
