About the Role:

This position is responsible for providing individualized nursing-process based care to SVMC Cancer Center patients under the direction of the physician or mid-level provider.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing patient care to Oncology patients as necessary, including obtaining vital signs, completing assessments, and delivering nursing care.
  • Administering treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, IV hydration, and injections.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required and successful completion of ONS Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy provider course and experience in oncology required.
  • Ability to obtain Vermont State Registered Nursing license required.
  • Health Care Provider BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
